Football
They came from a game, held me down, and they battered me raw

I was not well liked

The sharp sting of the stick against my ribs 'til I couldn't breathe

To be very well liked at school

Writing my earliest songs, hiding from everyone that I knew
The music block
I had sex in there once, yeah I connected there once, but just once

This is more scary to admit than a lot of harder shit
But I was never well liked at school
And everybody I've known, I've known because I've grown
And I don't know anybody from school
And the teachers as well made my little life hell
Made my difference a disease to undo
I was just like you, I was a loser too
And I'm still shocked when someone likes me at all
